It is with broken hearts that the family of Anna Maud Dishart announces her peaceful passing at Kipling Acres, Toronto, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.  Anna lived a full and vibrant life, always surrounded by the love and devotion of her family. Anna was born on September 4th, 1928 in Kingston, Ontario; daughter of George and Rebecca (Bessie) Williamson. Predeceased by her husband David (Bud) Dishart (1977); daughter-in-law Sandra Dishart (1977); sons Douglas (1979) and Dennis (2005); grandson Matthew Dishart (2010); and sister-in-law Frances Dishart (2016).  Loving mother of Wayne (Mary), Barry (Marian), Connie (Eugene Fleming), and survived by her loving partner Joe (George) Cowal.  Beloved sister-in-law Mary (Lorne), Jack, Betty and Bobby and numerous nieces and nephews.  Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving grandmother to Jeffrey, David, Ryan, Jennifer, Melissa, Daniel, Courtney and Brock; and her seven great-grandchildren Emma, William, Sophia, Gabriella, Anthony, Nathan and Mya who were the light in Anna's eyes. Anna loved her family, her friends and her job at De Havilland (Bombardier) where she worked and was respected and loved by all her colleagues for over 30 years.  Over the past four years mom had very dedicated, loving and gentle caregivers while at her home in Etobicoke where she resided for over 56 years. Our heartfelt thanks to Joanne, Janet, Nancy, Cynthia, Camille, and Shirley. Also, much thanks to Anna's long-time family doctor, Dr. Lisa Chiang; at Kipling Acres, many thanks and much gratitude to the skilled and caring PSW's and nursing staff and unit doctor, Dr. Rikhye, as well as our faithful caregivers Janet and Cynthia who all expertly cared for Anna in her final years at Kipling Acres Long Term Care Residence. All of you will be forever in our hearts for your loving care of our dear Mom. The family will receive friends and family at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, Ontario at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 2:00pm.
